Chances to tee it up are plentiful at indoor facilities spread across the state. Some indoor facilities double as entertainment venue, where you can eat, drink while satisfying that desire to swing the club. Others focus on the player development aspect, catering to the mind and body.

Dr. Margarita Vergara, a 5-foot-2 dentist and mom of three, has squeezed a gym – which she calls "my little sanctuary" – into the basement of her Randolph home. But she can't work on her golf swing without risking holes in the ceiling. And her latest love, ice hockey, requires even more space and specialized equipment. Between her three hockey-playing kids and dental practices in Sparta and Vernon, Vergara spends a lot of time on the road. So after her kids are settled at night, "it's my turn" to use the simulators at GolfCave, a 24/7 indoor club on Route 10 in Randolph.

GolfCave has announced the opening of its first South Jersey location at Crispin Square, 230 N. Maple Ave, Marlton. The indoor golf concept, which first opened in Clark in 2012, is expanding to meet demand as indoor golf grows in popularity for year-round practice and play. The Marlton location is owned and operated by the Provost family, including Sean Provost, who became interested in the concept after playing and working at GolfCave for many years, as well as his father Peter and sister Danielle.

GolfCave, a premier indoor golf facility, celebrated the grand opening of its New Providence location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event brought together local dignitaries, community members, and golf enthusiasts, showcasing GolfCave's dedication to delivering a state-of-the-art indoor golf experience.

GolfCave is opening its largest location at 675 Central Ave in New Providence, NJ this month. This new 8,000-square-foot facility will feature eight private simulator rooms (called Caves) equipped with TrackMan technology, recliner seating, TVs, and refrigerators, allowing golfers to bring their own food and drinks. Owned by Larry Furino, a Berkeley Heights resident and former GolfCave member, the location will also include event space and a conference room for parties and corporate events.

Clark-based GolfCave, one of the first indoor golf businesses, recently announced that three additional locations are under development in the Garden State, bringing the indoor golf business to a total of seven locations.

Clark-based GolfCave will open its fourth New Jersey location this winter in Randolph, according to a Monday announcement from South Orange resident Jake Phillips, an advertising executive and avid golfer, who will own and operate the facility as the company’s first franchisee.
